Argarwood, better known as Oud.
Known as the “five thousand dollar per pound scent,” Oud or is by far one of the most expensive raw fragrance ingredients in the world. The essential oil is extracted from the fungus-infected resinous heartwood of the agar tree, which is primarily found in the dense forests of Southeast Asia, India and Bangladesh.
This scent is comprised of many diverse aspects. It is simultaneously musky, with a spicey pungent, yet very pleasing, invoking warm, smoky notes with tinges of dampened wood.
What the 5th Edition offers.
This 5th Edition oud composition, is a base note, which tends to give off a musky, tinges of smokey notes and rich woody aroma which will remain on the beard long after the other subtle scents dissipate. Since they form the oil’s foundation, the aromatic base note is dense, heavy and long-lasting (up to six hours and more). While most wood notes are known for their earthy qualities, the Oud 5th edition will provide your beard with a pleasant sweet, woody and musky scent and maintain that moisturised condition feeling thorough the day. Used best with black-seed or mint organic beard wash.
